For UGC NET JRF exam maximum allowed age is 30 years for General category candidates (Relaxation of 5 years allowed for reserved categories). Please note that there are no upper age limit criteria for Assistant Professors. Non-science stream candidates who have completed or pursuing final year of their Master's (PG) are eligible for this exam. Below are the required minimum percentage:

The Candidate who have done Master's Degree or equivalent with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates). The Age Limit is 31 years for JRF, There is No age limit for Assistant professor.
