Corporate law is emerging as a fast growing profession. In these days of globalization and liberalization, it is likely to get further momentum as more lawyers would be required to handle cases arising out of international trade and as a result of growing importance of WTO. Lawyers are held in high esteem in a society. The corporate lawyers play a significant role in providing advice regarding the working and transactions of a company. On behalf of the company or its subsidiaries , they undertake legal services such as drafting , vetting , networking and negotiating contracts and resolving legal disputes, just to mention a few. Some of the organizations which hire lawyers are :-

International Law Firms- Clifford Chance LLP ( UK), SJ Berwin LLP ( UK), Allen and Overy LLP ( UK & Singapore), Simmons & Simmons LLP( UK), Herbert Smith LLP ( UK)
Indian Law Firms- Marchland Mangaldas, AZB & Partners, Luthra & Luthra, Titus & Co. etc.
Companies- ICCI Bank, Hindustan Lever, Tata Group, Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, Cholamandlam, General Insurance , Xerox Modi Corp etc.
