zoology is one of the basic subject of biology, which has generated huge knowledge. The zoology is the study of animals in their natural habitat or in the laboratory.

The scope of zoology depends upon the academic qualifications of the person. A person holding a post graduate degree of zoology will be eligible for the post of school teacher and Research associate, senior research fellow, junior research fellow in a research project.

For example, Diphtheria,typhoid disease research has been conducted on animals, if animals were not used by zoologist for research, then it would not have been possible to develop many vaccines against pathogens.

You may be in the opinion that, much has been done in the zoology subject and now there is nothing to do or discover new things. This is not true, the zoologist are now investigating the old things into very minute details. These details are now at molecular levels. The zoologist in universities, institutions and in multinational companies are working on gene level. It means, the scope of zoology will not be over in coming many many years.
