Dairy technology involves acquiring and processing of milk into various dairy products. Dairy technologists directly involved in the scientific and quality aspect of the dairy industry. These professionals apply diverse methods in the processing, conservation and consumption of milk and its products. With Dairy Technology, you can work as:

-a supervisor in a dairy plant either in equipment, plant design or project execution
-dairy consultant
-take up entrepreneurial ventures in milk plants or ice cream units
-Researcher in dairy

Dairy management involves the different principles, tasks in the management of the whole process taking place in the dairy farms, from obtaining the milk to its distribution as various by-products. As a dairy management professional, can work as:
- a Manager,
- Product Development Head,
- Marketing Head,
- Supervisor

If you want to make research oriented and technical job then study in dairy technology would be helpful.
If you want to work in management then Diary Science or Dairy Management will be useful.
