Dear Mahesh,

Thanks for writing to www.careerguide.com. The dairy technology and dairy management, both are about dairy field. The work nature and prospects differs.

Dairy technology involves acquiring and processing of milk into various dairy products. Dairy technologists directly involved in the scientific and quality aspect of the dairy industry. These professionals apply diverse methods in the processing, conservation and consumption of milk and its products. With Dairy Technology, you can work as:

-a supervisor in a dairy plant either in equipment, plant design or project execution
-dairy consultant
-take up entrepreneurial ventures in milk plants or ice cream units

Dairy management involves the different principles, tasks in the management of the whole process taking place in the dairy farms, from obtaining the milk to its distribution as various by-products. As a dairy management professional, can work as:
- a Manager,
- Product Development Head,

If you want to make research oriented and technical job then study in dairy technology would be helpful.
