Whether you should choose engineering or any other course is a personal choice. When I say personal it means the choice must be based on your line of interest, potentials and liking.
As an engineer one must be interested in machines, its manufacturing and functioning. Hence an interest in math and physics is a must not just scoring marks but understanding the subject.
To help you ease your reasoning, I would suggest an Aptitude test or career counseling test also available at mera career guide. The test would reveal your strengths and potentials and help you make a confirmed choice.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...
You can definitely choose engineering, since engineering is the mother of all product oriented businesses.
However just because it is good and there are people around getting good salaries and jobs due to engineering does not mean that it will be the same for you and you will also get the same scope as them. It may happen that you may get low or high.
Here, it is much more important for you to know whether you are suitable for engineering course and as a career based on your aptitude, interests, innate skills and inclination. If you get to know this, and on that basis, you can choose engineering definitely and make a wonderful career.
Since you are not able to decide which engineering to take and whether to take engineering or no as a career option, I would suggest you to check through the Engineering Branch Selector Test. (Hope you have the necessary eligibility in terms of 12th PCM percentage and the JEE score). This psychometric test will tell you the most suitable engineeering option for you.
You may also talk to me after taking the test.
