Wow... Interesting career options.

Both the mentioned careers are varied and has immense scope.

Home Science is a course whereby students here learn " Life Skills", mainly useful to run and manage self and home.
This is divided mainly into 3 main categories:
  • Nutrition
  • Human Resource Development
  • Family resource Planning
The field was highly confused for being a course for managing home. But it is mainly concerned with Food and nutrition, composition, home decor, interiors and so on.
It is a comprehensive course and it offers a lot of scope for further studies.

B.Sc Home science is a 3 years Under Graduate course. There is an entrance exam post 12th.
Biologists
Opportunities at the masters level includes:
  • Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Biotechnology
  • Microbiology
  • Food Technology
  • Fashion Technology and management
  • Social Work
  • Teaching
  • Counseling
As far as Psychology is concerned it is mostly related to mind and behavior. It is a link of how we think and its effect on how we behave.
After Graduation in Psychology one needs to do a masters Program to secure a job as a Counselor.
Some of the specializations includes:
  • Clinical Psychology
  • Counseling Psychology
  • Industrial Psychology
  • Social Psychology
  • Guidance and Counseling
Biologists
As a Psychologists or counselor one may find opportunity in:
  • Schools
  • Hospitals
  • Counseling firms
  • Polyclinics
  • Guidance clinics.
One can also work in collaboration with a team of doctors and Psychiatrists.

I have given you an idea what the two fields are all about.
Now the choice is completely yours.

A such both the streams have ample opportunities to begin on your own.
With your Science background, Nutrition and Dietetics sounds a good combination.
And these days as you very well know people have become health conscious, you could think of this course under the Home Science background.

Hope this answers your query.

Wish you good luck...........
