Since I dont know how strong you are mentally commenting on this question would be wrong on my part.
But please note if you are someone who personalises failure then I would say dont appear as it would break your morale down completely. Also resting is important for a complete recovery. Rather best would be to sit back and prepare for both 12th and medical.
Anyways choice is yours.
