Congratulations for completing an important phase in your career. I would like to tell you that there is no particular sure shot way of predicting about cut off marks for a particular branch. Cut off marks depends on two major factors as follows:
Branch – The branch you select for engineering. Generally cut off is higher for core branches like Mechanical.
Category- whether you belong to General or reserved category is also a deciding factor.
However, you can make assumptions depending on last year’s cut off for the branch you wish to choose. These cut off marks are available on the NIT website.
