Medical is medical. There is no substitute as such to the medical profession. Although there are para medical fields, which you could opt for.
Para-Medical involves:
In terms of medical, please note, after MBBS, you have 2 options in the masters degree. MD, which is a masters in Medicine, whereby you are a doctor who just treats his patients through medicines, just like a physician and another is MS, whereby you master in surgery. So as such you could opt for an MD program. Another option after MBBS is opt for Psychiatry, and hence you would be in the medical field, but would not be involved in surgery.
Another option after 12th, you could think of includes BHMS ( Homeopathy doctor) and or BAMS ( Ayurveda Doctor)
Choice is yours. Options are many.
