Since you have not cleared the banking exams, and so you wish to pursue an MBA.
Choose an MBA only if you are interested in working as a manager in an organization as such.
Agreed that private colleges are costly, and hence state run colleges would be preferred.
Prepare for the entrance exams like CAT, CET, XAT, SAT, NMAT etc. You could join classes for the same.
Also prepare for the group discussion whereby you need to be aware of the recent and past happenings in all sectors right from sports to politics to history to current affairs etc.
