Interesting career choice.
Hope you have opted for 12th PCM. Since, to work as a Ultra sound technician, you need to pursue a B.Sc in Radiology. A radiologists, is the one, who does the scan and sends across the report to the Radiographer who then interprets the study to the patient.
You could then opt for an M.Sc, whereby you could choose your specialisation accordingly. Please note there are short term courses too, which you could opt for too after Graduation.

Almost all Universities in India have affiliated colleges which have Radiology courses.
After 12th, you can take admission to BSc Radiology and then MSc Radiology is recommended. There are MBBS qualified also who become Radiologists.

if you want to practice as a sonographer in India not possible. but want to immigrate outside working as a sonographer is high paid salary in medical field ...UK, Canda, Malaysia, Singapore, UAE as well as the US also.
To become a sonographer, you must be an allied health science graduate. it's an added advantage for you.
in India, there is no college teaching sonography to nonmedical students or allied health students.
even B.Sc or M.Sc Radiology creating only radiographer. ultrasound is part of the curriculum, not much teaching university courses. outside India sonography available in Malaysia.

Graduate Diploma in Diagnostic Medical ultrasound (GDDMU)
It is a Post-Graduate Diploma in Medical ultrasound awarded by Australian Institute of Healthcare Education (AIHE). The place and the college where it is conducted is Vision college, Malaysia. We are the representatives of Vision college Malaysia in India .
It is a FULL TIME ONE AND HALF YEARS RESIDENTIAL COURSE (INCLUSIVE INTERNSHIP). It is Accredited by Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR), It’s quite a rigorous programme, considering the practicals start as early as 8am to 12pm and lectures/tutorials are done from 2pm to 6pm. This continues every weekday. All candidates need a minimum 500 scans to complete the entire programme. Students are practicing in our diagnostic clinic, which the government hospitals send patients to undergo ultrasound scans. Sometimes, students will stay back on Saturdays to record additional scans. With Vision College operating the largest ultrasound diagnostic centre in Malaysia, prospective students may look forward to a holistic Practical education.
#EligibilityAny Bachelor’s degree holders of the following disciplines:Diagnostic Radiography,Medical Technology, Nursing, Midwifery, Biochemistry, Biotechnology ,Biomedical Science, Biohealth, Health Science, Cardiopulmonary Technology, Medical Degree like MBBS or MD; or other educational background which is deemed to make a contribution to the modality. Diploma holders of the above discipline may be considered on a case-to-case basis.
#Placement and Job offersOn successful completion of the programme, students will be awarded by AIHE the qualification of Graduate Diploma of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound. The graduates may also consider practising professionally as a sonographer in Australia. This requires a professional registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR), where additional practicals in Australia will be required. AIHE provides a Sonographer Trainee package programme in Australia which will assist graduates to meet the practical requirements by ASAR.
Since the Graduate Diploma is issued by Australian Institute of Healthcare Education (AIHE) , it has wide acceptance in the UK,USA,Canada , Australia and the Middle east. It is a perfect opportunity to immigrate to these countries.
Vision college arranges for interviews with the hospitals in Malaysia and Singapore. Students choose their own offers. The job offers come too often, as there are no schools in Malaysia and Singapore teaching ultrasound scans.
