As far as securing a seat in the course in the college is concerned it depend on various factors.
Firstly, please check up the last years records to see what was the cut-off for admission to the course last year. Secondly how many students applied to the college ans the course you specified for.
This will give you a basic understanding of the colleges way of giving admission to the students.
Every year a lot of students apply and each year the umber increases and so the cut offs. Si its a little difficult to predict what would be the cut off this year.
Sometimes an unexpected situation turns out like many students have applied but their score is below average,in that case the cutoff is kept at bare minimum.
So keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best.
But one advise, hope you have applied to other campuses too, as wasting a year will not help.
It is advisable to take admission in a course in the college you get without wasting a year. At the same time,you could prepare and put in double the effort to clear the exam with a better score so that you get admission in your dream college campus.
