In order to get admission fot top level colleges i.e. IHM’S – Institute of Hotel Management, you need to appear for and clear NCHMCT JEE. NCHMCT conducts NCHMCT JEE i.e. National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination for admission to B.Sc. course in Central, state as well as private institutes. The exam comprises objective type questions based on Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language and Aptitude for Service Sector. Eligibility of the exams the student must have passed 10+2 with English as one of the subjects. Hence, you can take this exam after completing your twelfth standard from any stream.

The criteria vary for other institutes that are affiliated with state level universities. Generally the criterion is minimum 55% marks in twelfth standard.
