If I am not wrong, you are either looking for a bank job or into IT sector but mainly government related jobs.

Since from your question, I get to know that you are pursuing an MCA program which basically is an application course for software and networking.
I am also hoping that you do have some internship experience and are also enjoying your job.

As such IT field is very very much in demand. Any organization you touch it works on only systems and database created by systems.
So your role is vital to any organization.
There is a lot to learn in this IT Field.

Since you are keen on a Government sector, then you could opt for any sector right from Technical to retail to banking to education.
But honestly an IT graduate is required mainly in an IT or engineering or production field. Mainly a BPO or KPO is in need of the IT personnel because majority of their work is based on systems and a delay for few seconds too may hamper their work.

Now the issue here is that these sectors are private ones. So please do rethink on your choice.

Not that I am trying to say that you wont learn in a government sector, but in a private sector issues to be dealt with are varied and would be of a different nature. So best is to gain a few years of work experience, earn well and then for a secured life you could change into a government sector.
Bank Probationary Officer
The answer to your next question on Banks Probationary Officer. Any Graduate with knowledge of Math can opt for this field.
Since this is the beginning stage of a bank, whereby the person is exposed to all bank related functions right from passbook entry to funds transfer to FD to lockers etc. Then after the candidate finishes his probation period, he is then selected in any of the banks functions. Mostly the PO position stands for a "Trainee" position.
Since you may not have much knowledge regarding book keeping and accounts, you could take help of coaching classes.
Also as banks now have an entrance exam, you could take help of coaching classes again to help you entering into a bank.

The good news here is that even banks have a technical department and a back end office.
So instead of learning the front end operations which mainly deals with customers and their transactions, it would be good if you could work in their back end or the technical department.
Since these days banks too have become computerized, they too have issue related to networking, LAN connection and so on.

So here you can work in a Government bank as well as make complete use of your IT knowledge.

Choice is yours.

Wish you good luck....
