I Got My Mba From Periyar University Distance Education At Salem. Now My Company Wants If The Mba Offered By Periyar University Is Aicte Approved To Add Marks For The Purpose Of Promotion. Can Anyone Guide Me In This Regard Please.

That sounds like a grave issue for you.


Firstly I would like to ask you, why did u choose a University without confirming their approval status.
Please note such skills are very much required for being successful as a manager in any organization that you work with.
Also while applying, you get forms which mentions the rules and regulations and disclaimers from the University.

Next time you must go through every minute details before you apply for a course, since the course not only involves time but also money and more importantly your future depends on that one certificate.

Secondly, I would like to know, why is your company asking you for the college credentials.
It is the job of the HR or Admin department to make a note on all these points and not ask the employees to search for the credentials of the course.


Anyways since they have asked you and you have not completely made a search, let me tell you, you are pretty safe as the college has been approved by NAAC.
National Assessments and Accreditation council ( NAAC), a part of the accreditation of the university has granted the courses of the University as B+ and the University Grant Commission has approved the University under 12 (B) and 2f status, which definitely means the University courses are approved ones and are company recognised.
