Hello Sahil

I think you want to know more about how to pursue engineering degree. Engineering is about application of science. For engineering, you need to complete twelfth standard from science stream with physics, chemistry and mathematics. Make sure that you secure at least 60% marks. You need to appear for and clear entrance exam depending on your state. There are state level entrance exams. If you wish to pursue engineering from top ten institutes i.e. IIT’s then you need to appear for IIT JEE. For regional institutes i.e. NIT, a candidate should clear AIEEE exam.

Another way is you can pursue diploma after tenth standard. After completing the three year diploma course, one can get admission to second year of engineering course.

Dear Aspirant,

It would be appreciated if you can let us know more about your question and your career concern.

It appears that you wish to study Engineering. Hope you have taken Science in 12th after which you can take up engineering as an under graduate course.

Which engineering are you interested in?

I would suggest that your answer lies in Engineering Branch Selector Test from careerguide.com. This psychometric test will ascertain your aptitude, interests in engineering field and suggest you which engineering stream will be perfect for you. It is important for you to choose that engineering stream in which you are suitable and not the reverse.

Engineering is a good career option and it is important to be a good Engineer in the entire lot to claim better placements.
