To become a sucessful Chef you need to have following work values:

1. Chefs need to have strong work ethics. This is a profession which is challenging and expects a lot from the employee.

2. A Chef has to be responsible. Since they are involved in a number of tasks every day, they have to ensure that each of that task is being done correctly and in time.

3. A Chef needs to have positive attitude about their work. It not only brings more productivity but also encourages others to do their roles with great efforts.

4. Chefs have to be very adaptable in terms of different environments they are going to work in. If not, it will cause a bad effect on the quality of their work.

5. They have to be very honest. This is one value that differentiates between a great Chef and a mediocre one.

6. A Chef has to be self motivated. If not, their performance will go down sooner or later. No monetary benefits can provide that kind of satisfaction if one does not have intrinsic motivation.

7. A Chef should be very punctual and should understand the importance of time management. This is important while working in an institute or a hotel.

8. Chefs need to behave in a very polite and dignified manner. As a part of hotel management profession, their etiquettes matter a lot.
