A bridge course is for students, who generally do not satisfy the admission criteria for a particular course.
The eligibility criteria for B.Tech apart from the engineering entrance exam, is 12th PCM.So assuming that, you are either not a 12th science student or you have not appeared for either Physics, chemistry or math.If you are keen on a B.Tech, then better to appear for the Bridge course or else you would not be eligible.
