If you are talking about making a choice between State Boards, CBSE or ICSE then I need to have some more information about you and you current education level and your future plans for your education.
There is nothing like which Board is good. Studying in a Central Board gives an advantage in terms of competitive exams. However, that is not a definite answer or opinion.
What matters for your career as a whole is which course you choose and whether you learn the employability aspects of it or no so that you get a job which you dream of.
If you are not that academically good, then sticking to the State Board is recommended.
