Hello Raghavendra,Hmmm..... this is actually a very difficult question to answer. See that totally depends on person to person. Someone who is a brilliant student need not study a lot, but on the other hand a person who is not that intelligent will have to study more. Actually it hardly matters on the number of hours you study as in quantity of your study rather the quality of your study is that what matters.I would suggest you to do quality study rather that quantity study.

If students can pass just on the basis of number of hours they have studied, then by now every student would have become CA, CS, CWA, MBA altogether.
How much hours of study depends on your receptiveness, absorption, concentration, attention and passion to study.
Professional courses definitely need long hours of study since the portion to study is very vast and exhaustive.
Generally, 6-8 hours of self study daily is enough.
