Want to pursue a career in Arts, Design & Animation. I am a software engineer and wish to take up a course where i can learn Concepts of Graphics, Illustrations, Digital Design, Web Graphics & Animation.

Its my dream to make a place in the comic book industry as a creative artist. Ideally i would prefer a course that i can take up along with continuing with my job. But I understand this field requires hard work and time, so i am also willing to take a break from my job and pursue a PG or Diploma course. Also, please suggest good institutes, both government and private. Heard mixed reviews about private institutes like Arena, MAAC.

Hi Asish,

It's great to know that in spite of your hectic schedule you want to do something new.To work in the animation field one must have creative mind and imaginative skill and I think you already have both.In India there are many good institutes who offer the courses in animation. You can do those with continuation of your job.

You didn't mention your location here.If you are in the Delhi/NCR region you can join the institute of Mr. Pran Kumar Sharma, the successful cartoonist and the creator of Chacha Chaudhary. You can learn a lot of things under the guidance of this great personality.
