Good to know that you want to study further.After BCA you can go for MCA or MBA according to your own choice. It depends on what is your aim to reach. After doing BCA you can get a job in any good company if you do MBA also along with it, but if you do MCA then you get jobs as faculty in colleges and universities. MCA with MBA will give you a good job in any MNC.


Most of the students now a days after BCA go for MCA and then for MBA , this helps them to get good jobs in India as well as abroad. MBA helps them in jobs and in their own ventures also. Only BCA with MBA will not help to get you a well payed job, this is the reason i said that it is important know what is your ambition in life.



LLB is possible after you complete all the three degrees, as it will be added qualification to your profile. It has its own benefits in the long run and of course helps to boost your confidence to a great extent.

You can explore various options online and even consult your peer group and your professors to get the latest feed back. Networking with your own known group and the social sights like Facebook and Linked in can help to a great extent.

Greeting's for the day!!!

As Education is in Countinuous Process, it will always advisable to get yourself updated with further studies.
As a BCA Student, it will be advisable to go ahead with MCA (Master's of Computer Applications) Course as it will be related to what you have studies earliesr rather than exploring new field.

You can even go ahead with MSc (Information Technology) or MSc(Computer Science) courses along with rather than going for MBA Course. As MBA will be better choice for Business Students (like BBA) or for General Categories (like BA, BCom, Bsc).

As you have alteady completed your BCA which a Specialized filed into Computer, it will be more suitable to go ahead with same field..

As you not not from Arts or even from Science field, it is not at all advisable to go ahead with LLB. As this field will not be related to your earliesr studies and even doing LLB, it will not add expertism to your profile, due to dis continousation of the field. and will not attract to get High Salery Jobs in it.

Note: Also do check whether the MCA or MSc providing universties has AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education ) approval or not. As Technical Courses without AICTE Approval doesn't hold any value into the Industries and most of companies even doesnt accept it too.

You can even try for Lateral Entry (Direct 2nd Year Entry) for MCA on the basis of your BCA. If you satisfies the "Lateral Entry Criteria" you can get benefit of it saving your 1 or even 2 years of the Course. You can approach the university directly for Lateral Entry and they will guide you for the process.

However looking at your query, it seems that you are still to complete your graduation. This is good thing I hope so! BCA is a computer related course and as rightly suggested by my expert colleagues here, doing MBA or LLB is not at all relevant and will be a step too much in a different direction altogether.




Always remember that what post graduation you do is very important irrespective of your graduation background. The reason is once you do a particular post graduation course, you are identified by that course only and not by your graduation degree. Graduation degree loses its importance once you do a post graduation course, therefore it is very important to choose a post graduation course very seriously and cautiously.




Do not go after MBA because every one seems doing it thinking nothing of the result - whether it is good for them or not!


LLB course is a hard core law course and your BCA will be of no use anywhere. If you do MBA, again your BCA will lose its relevance. Doing a non - relevant post graduation is always an insult to the graduation you have done.




The most appropriate post graduation for a BCA candidate will be undoubtedly an MCA. Ofcourse if you have done BCA seriously and with a proper choice at the time of taking admission to it. If you wish to completely change the field, then going for MBA or LLB is right.
