500+ Career Options
1M+ Test Taken
Best available option is continuing your technical studies. If you want to pursue M.Tech then you can appear for GATE exam 2018. Exam has 65 questions carrying a total of 100 marks.
Top 15% are considered eligible for premier institutes like IITs, IISC, BITS Pilani.
Or if you are no longer interested in the same field you can look for different career options. Like, say, Management.
For government jobs, you can start preparing with some online coaching for competitive exams like SSC IBPS or self study.
I consider self study best as it makes you work smartly & better scrutinize your performance.
Dear Sagar,
After B.Tech so many career options are available like MBA, MTech, GATE, Jobs also
If want to do MBA you have to give entrance examinations like CAT, GMAT, CMAT, XAT, SNAP, MAT etc. , on basis on your entrance score you will join top Management colleges in India or abroad also.
for M.Tech also you have to give GATE entrance after that you will eligible to take admission in Top Engineering colleges like IITs, NITs, BITs Pillani, Thapar Unviersity & many more.
In fact if you clear GATE exam then you can directly join top companies like GAIL, BHEL, NTPC etc.
It totally depends upon you whether you want to go with higher studies and whether you want to start your professional career but I am giving you a suggestion that once you have completed your B.Tech in any stream you have two option wither to go with higher studies, either to go with professional studies. In higher studies is my first choice after B.tech. The third option you have to join coaching institutes and prepare for CAT Exam. If you are thinking to build your career in the business domain.
Some other options are there you can go through to prepare yourself for the govt exam i.e. SBI SO, PO, SSC CGL and etc.So try to follow a path where you think you can perform very well compared to other.
There are various thing that one can do after doing btech and also do note that btech is the only graduation course which placements after graduation. If you get placed from campus then that's the best thing for you.
Another thing is that you definitely must have done before getting into btech was preparing for various entrance exams like JEE Main, IPU CET, and various others, so if you think you can still study and prepare for more exams then go for that and work your way towards government services.
In order to post replies to the question: "What after btech"
