Dear Student!!

I think you want to know the opportunities for the Chartered Accountant's in Media related work and not as to become a news reader.

Nowadays, the demand for Chartered Accountants are increasing in media on regular basis due to fast changing economic activities & various rules and regulations.

Chartered Accountants are appointed as a Experts by Various news channels to talk & share about recent amendments in laws such as Income Tax, Service Tax, Excise, VAT etc.

News channels such as NDTV Profit, CNBC, Zee business etc hire Chartered accountants to share there expert knowledge with the people and provide them necessary information. So you can work for such news channel on hourly basis and can earn a handsome amount of money.

With regard to becoming a News Reporter, there few Chartered Accountants who are into it. They are working for Doordarshan as news reporter, also a Radio Jokey. So its only your ability and skills that will help you be a News reporter.

However the best way is to do mass communication first, but you never know when the opportunity strikes.

Stay Happy & Bright
