Electronics & instrumentation engineering is a specialized branch of electricaland electronics engineering which focuses on the principles and operation of measuring instruments ,process control which are used in design and configuration of automated systems

. These engineers work for industries with automated processes such as chemical or manufacturing plants with the goal of improving system productivity, reliability , safety , optimization and stability. Instrumentation engineers help in the designing, construction and maintenance of instruments and entire instrumentation systems of an industrial undertaking. An instrumentation engineer decides the type of instruments needed for ensuring better quality and efficiency of the end product. Instrumentation engineers can get job in R & units of public and private sector companies. They are also required by the heavy industries such as thermal power stations, steel plants, refineries and cement and fertilizer plants both in private and govt sector like NFL, bhel, Honeywell,Samsung,IOC, and sail. They have a multidisciplinary role to play. One may choose to move sideways into other career areas either within or outside their industry. Those who have an aptitude use their expertise they have gained in industry and engage in academic research in universities or work as lecturer or trainer of instrumentation engineer. Robotics is another area where there is huge need of instrumentation engineers.

If your family is in good financial condition, then I would suggest you to continue with graduation that is, Bachelor in Engineering

. If you are required to earn due to family compulsions, then doing a job is required. If you are interested in construction industry, then you may choose to do BBA Construction Management from Samvit School of Infrastructure Business which is based in Pune, Maharashtra. BBA CM is a full time course however the classes are held thrice in a week and that too from seven to nine in the evening. So there is no need to leave your job for completing graduation. But yes graduation is a must these days to have a stable and secure career. Because once you lose the momentum of studying getting back to studies gets very difficult later in the time. But Samvit does not give distance learning course. Apart from this, I think you should opt for regular bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and complete your BE with good percentage and grade. I think after this you will be in a much better position to enter into the corporate world armed with a BE in Mechanical Engineering. Wish you Best Luck.
