If you are currently working in a Junior human resource role, you could certainly do some of these ways to be a human resource manager.
Upgrade qualifications: If you have not studied Human resources subject before it is highly necessary to study this subject now. You can study some of these qualifications listed below.
MSc Human resource managementMSc Personnel management and industrial relationsMSc SociologyMSc Psychology with human resource managementMSW Social workMLM Master of labour managementMSc Organizational or industrial psychologyMBA human resource managementPG Diploma in human resource managementPG Diploma in Personnel management and industrial relations
You could study these above degree by probably taking a two year time out from work. Completing these degrees and getting back to work will definitely land you up in a HR managerial role. You could also expect a good salary package with these qualifications.
Alternatively if you are unable to leave the workforce but are still interested in studying, you could do Executive programs. I see IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore, symbiosis, XLRI runs executive programs called EPHRM for working professionals. You can study these courses at your preferred institutute on part time basis. Completing the Diploma, you could produce the certificate for considering you to a Managerial level. It is also said that these universities also offer better networking pportunities with their alumni and the more you interact, the more you could easily land up in a job.
You can also consider doing the HR Certification course. I see you are focusing the level one, Managerial level and PHR exam will prove useful to you. Professional Human Resource (PHR) is a certification for aspiring HR employees to Managerial grades and you may consider taking these exam.Hope this helps. Good luck.
