If you have already completed your education and are looking to get a job of Chef, you will have to do following things:

1. Start looking for jobs online.
You have to start searching online for various Chef jobs available. Linkedin will be of utmost help. Get active on it. It's a very important platform where you can get the employers' information and share your profiles with them. You can also visit job sites like Naukri, Monster, Shine, Times jobs etc. If you are looking to work in a particular hotel, you can check their website for the job openings.

2. Prepare your resume.
Your resume should be very interesting and should appeal to the employers. Do not make it lengthy. Keep it short and simple. Use online resume formats for the online submission. You need to understand that your resume is the only mode to reach the employers. It has to contain distinguished accomplishments so that it can get their attention.

3. Build your expertise.
This should be your top most priority even before you start applying for the jobs. You should be prepared with your special recipes so that you can add a unique value to the kitchen. Learn how you can add a twist to a particular recipe. Focus hard on your area of expertise. Given an opportunity for the interview, you should be ready to showcase your skills.

4. Cover Letter.
This is again a nice opportunity to impress the prospective employer. You will have to state why you want to join that particular institute or hotel and how you can add more value to their work. If you can come up with some great answers to these two questions, you are on the right track to get a job.

5. Search Offline.
Don't restrict your job search to the internet. There are still many organizations who prefer offline mode to hire the candidates. Build your network in the hotel industry. Get in touch with right people so that they can recommend you for the job of the Chef.

If you can work on these five points, you should be able to find a job soon. Wish you all the best.
