There are quite a number of job options available to you after completing your graduation in Electronics and Telecom Engineering. I am listing down the options available to you, and you can choose the right one as per your interest and comfort. Please note that I am listing down only the other jobs available to you apart from your core jobs.

1. You can go for software engineering. The software engineering has become quite a trend in India after the software boom in the recent few years. The salaries are decent and work life is quite good. The best thing is you don't have to come from software engineering background for that. With your degree in electronics and telecom you can get in here and enjoy the job. You will have to learn the basic programming and should have good aptitude and communication skills to get in to this job.

2. You can try in the civil services exams as they are very much open to all and are not restricted to one particular field. Therefore if you have interest in public administration then this would be a nice option for you. The competitive exams for civil services are generally very tough and you will have to prepare really well in order to conquer them.

3. You can go to more non technical profiles such as Business Analysts, sales and marketing, human resources, depending on the kid of interest that you have. Again these options are not very rigid about the education background and therefore you will get the opportunity to showcase your skills. May not be in a big company straight away but you will have to learn and grow accordingly.

4. You can work as a free lancer or an independent consultant in the field of your expertise. It can be your core engineering or even different from that. Once you start working independently you will have to manage everything yourself and be responsible.

Therefore a number of options are available to you after your degree in Electronics and Telecom Engineering.
