What are the Analyst profiles after MBA Marketing

I am a B.Sc Chemistry and MBA Marketing and Systems post-graduate. My major experience is in Inside sales in Equity advisory company as a Marketing Manager. I want to switch from Sales to a Analyst role. But I am confused as to which course I should pursue whether Business Analyst / Market research analyst / Equity analyst / Credit analyst? Which one would be more relevant from my background point of view? KIndly advise.

For changing from one domain to another domain, it is difficult and special efforts need to be made. You need to remember that once you decide to change your domain area, the past work experience comes to zero and in the new domain which you go, you are treated as fresher. This is rightly so according to the industry.

The way you started your career in marketing with an MBA in Marketing and Systems and you got a job, similarly you need to learn new things through a formal course preferably so that you get an entry to that new domain and sector. Also please be ready when you go for an interview in the domain and in new company to answer the question "why did you leave marketing field and wish to come into altogether different field". Also they may ask that since you have left marketing domain, what is the guarantee that you wont leave the new domain sector? (Since this is a loss to the company)

For getting into Analyst role, you definitely need to learn Analytics. Taking your marketing background, I would suggest you to go for Business Analyst course. With this course you may get entry into companies in IT, Retail, Ratings. For Equity Analyst, you need to learn much more than Business Analysis.
