Dear Aspirant,

For a fresh Civil Engineer I would strongly recommend a course in Construction Project Management. These days Construction industry is becoming organised and professional and due to their experiences of cost over runs and skilled labour shortage and lack of financial management, construction companies are looking for civil engineers who also know little bit about management. But this management is not about what is taught in MBA but a managing skill relating to the construction industry and infrastructure sector.

Construction Management courses are offered by few Institutes like Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management Ahmedabad, NICMAR - Pune, Goa and Hyderabad, etc.

Best wishes
