Hello Milind,

Firstly if you consider yourself week, you are week student and please note that this kind of labeling will not help you improve any further.

Secondly, you have all the options open for you, only if you are ready to work on your weakness and work harder to give in your 100 %

Please note th at this stage, you cannot be having lot of choice.

So best would be to get into college in the stream you desire, and there on put on your best efforts and excel, so that from the next year or from 12th onwards you get your choice only.

Hope this helps

Wish you good luck...

Hello Milind,

A warm welcome to CareerGuide.com

Thanks for visiting us and writing us your career query.

Though you have scored less marks that doesn't mean that you don't have any further good career option available for you. First of all dont consider yourself as a weak student. Scoring a good academic marks do not make one to be an intelligent student. Other factors are also to be considered to be an intelligent. Take put the thing from your mind that you are weak and less intelligent just because you have scored 50% marks in your 10th standard.

Their are many career opportunities available for you after 10th. But before selecting any career option i would like to suggest you to look out where your interest lies, what are your strengths and weaknesses. I will suggest you to go for the CareerGuide.Com's Psychometric Career Aptitude Assessment which will help you to know very well where your interest lies, what are your strengths and weaknesses etc. and than furthermore you can select a career option as per the Psychometric Report and the Counselling session with the Counsellor.

After 10th the career options available are -

1.Pre University Course (PUC)

2.Jr.College- Arts,Commerce and Science

3.Engineering Diploma

4.Diploma and Certificate Courses

5.Technical Education i.e ITI

So don't worry take an assessment and get the right guideline from the Career Expert. Be Confident and Believe in Yourself.

And you have a 2nd chance to score good marks in your 12th or also in all the academic years ahead. Whatever you do,do it with passion and with dedication.

Dear Aspirant,

Though 50% marks in 10th std are considered not so good, that does not mean that you cannot be successful in your career and do a great job or business.

I would suggest you to first take the Ideal Career Test from CareerGuide.com. This is a psychometric test which will enable you to know your real strength, weaknesses, attitude, aptitude, emotional quotient, etc. which are very necessary to be known before selecting a career.

There is always an ideal career for everyone on this earth, but it has to be discovered.

Based on 50% of your 10th std marks you will have to choose a stream.

Best wishes
