Hi Shivani,

Various options are available for you after you complete your Graduation.

But I wish to let you know, that generally, for pursuing MA, one needs to complete 6 papers during your Graduation.

So preferably choose either one subject or at the max another subject to go along with it.

Any specialization you opt for you are eligible to be a Teacher. So you could then appear for a B.Ed and then opt for teaching either in schools or in junior college.

If you wish to styudy further with English Majors, you can go ahead and pursue an MA in English literature and could work as a Teacher or Literature or courses related to Journalism.
You could get jobs in publishing houses as anh author or a transcript reader or interpreter.

With History or Political Science majors, you could go ahead and pursue courses related to Museomology or Anthropology, or Archaeology, or Civil Services.

Other than this you could opt for general courses for which any Graduate is eligible:

Hope this helps.

Wish you good luck...........

Hello Shivani,
Welcome to career guide.com
Thanks for approaching us and writing us your career query.

Shivani it sounds very interesting subjects that you have learnt . And its good to that you have approached us for getting the guideline.

I have been counselling students since from 8 years and especially students from commerce and arts background the most.

Shivani the subjects that you have mentioned are a perfect a subject for the students who are aspiring to make their career in the field of Law. Because the subjects English,History and Political Science are the very basis of the law course and also an introduction to the Law. Usage of English matters a lot in Law. While History tells us about the evolution of law and the legal systems that were and are being practised in the country and political science teaches us different types of government forms and their functioning.

But shivani the core question here is whether you have an interest in Law or not and do you have passion for law.If you don't have interest in law than that wont take you long in law career.

The other career options available apart from LAW are-
1.BA- English;Political Science;Foreign Languages;Sociology etc.
2.BA-History,Archaeology,Anthropology.
3.BA-Psychology
4.Animation
5.Mass communication

After completing graduation you get eligible to apply for the Civil Service examinations and also get eligible to apply for Bank PO exams.

I would suggest you to go with the career guide's Psychometric Career Assessment before opting for any career this assessment will tell where your area of interest lies, strengths and weaknesses which will help you to take the right decision with the help of the expert counsellors.

I hope you find this information relevant to your career query.

Feel free to get in touch again.

Wish you Good Luck.

Thank You

Warm Regards,
Prathamesh K.
