Homeopathy is an alternative form of medicine. The aim of homeopathy is to provide a rapid, gentle and safe method of treatment and cure. It is equally effective in dealing with long term chronic ailments and acute illnesses like flu, viruses, coughs and colds
. Homeopaths approach their patients in a holistic way means the whole of the body and spirit is dealt with not just the particular diseases. It is a safe, effective and gentle aproah to health and provides an alternative to drugs and surgery. Homeopaths generally begins with detailed examination of their patients history including questions regarding their physical, emotional and mental states , their life circumstances, ood habits and any physical/ emotional illness. The homeopath then attempts to translate this information into a complex formula of mental and physical symptoms including likes , dislikes , innate predispositions and body types. The goal is to develop a comprehensive representation of each individual's overall health. After understanding the patient's temperament, personality , life style and all the symptoms , the homeopath tries to find the one drug most closely matching the symptom totality of the patient. A homeopath can get employment as medical officer/ doctor at government and private homeopathic hospitals, one can start his or her parctice, can own a retail shop of homeopathy medicines, work with industries engaged in homeopathic preparation or may take up teaching as profession
