Bachelor's of Computers Application - one of the most common and in demand course, opted by many of the students these days. Once you are done with your higher secondary level, you start looking out for the courses to opt for graduation, BCA is one among them. Those who are interested in developing their career in Computers application are likely to go for this Course. BCA is considered equivalent to Bachelors in Technology (B.tech ).

Eligibility Criteria

If you have scored more than 50% in your Higher Secondary Examination or any of the Equivalent Diploma degree you are eligible to apply for BCA. Further, Most of the Institutes offering this course, persist the students applying for the course must have pursued Mathematics as one the subjects during their Higher Secondary Education.  

Age Limit: Age should be between 17 to 25 years.

Though on the basis of your score in higher secondary you can apply for the course and take the admission, but some Institutionsconduct a Common Entrance Test, that youneed to qualify prior to the admission in the course.  Some institutes also provide with merit option, where the admission is done on the Merit basis, if you have scored well in higher secondary i.e you are a merit student then you can easily get the admission. 

For Ex: Every Year, A Combined Entrance Test named “IPU CETBCA” for the Program is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. For those who are interested in pursuing BCA from IP University, need to clear this Exam to get the admission.
