There are a number of things that the resume of a chemical engineer must reflect. The important aspects of the resume have been mentioned below:

1. The resume should clearly indicate the work experience of the chemical engineer. This is really important and has to be highlighted at the top. You need to mention the companies that you have worked with along with your profile name and little information about it. That would give the other person clear idea about the kind of work that you have experienced as a professional and therefore the value that you are going to bring in to the prospective employer.

2. The next important thing is to have the projects list along with your role and details about the impact of your role on the project. The projects are the best ways to judge one's work. This is because one works in the project environment along with other people and therefore the real potential of the individual comes out in this settings. If your project has achieved something extraordinary you need to mention that also. Remember that the success of the project is also a success of your professional journey and thus needs to be mentioned.

3. The academics can play an important role in the resume if mentioned smartly by an individual. In case you are a fresher, you won't have much to write in the above mentioned points and therefore the academics part has to be mentioned with details and highlighting the important facts. In case you are a professional with a work experience, you don't need to worry about this part. But it will be great if you can provide your academic achievements in the resume. That will tell about your consistency and excellence during the education and has always a positive impact.

4. The resume should contain the achievements section where you can highlight the important facts. Also, you should also mention about the skills that you possess and the various tools and technologies that you have worked on. It will be added advantage to your profile.
