As a Human Resource Manager, you need to work on following things in your resume:

  • You need to provide the highlights of your work experience. It is important to mention the changes that your brought in your workplace, what impact you had on others and how your policies affected others.
  • You need to clearly state the kind of roles that you have played so far. That will give others a fair idea of what kind of experience that you have gained so far.
  • The kind of additional responsibilities that you have taken apart from your main work tells how responsible and proactive you are. Never forget to mention them.
  • Do mention your education background clearly. That not only gives the idea of your academic excellence but also about your learning and what kind of individual you are.
  • Indicate precisely your achievements. But It should never appear like showing off.
  • Explain in details about your key skills. Also the kind of trainings and certifications that you have received. This is probably the most important part of the resume. Do it carefully.
  • Mention the facts briefly and precisely. It's always a good practice to keep it short and simple.
  • Try to restrict it to one page only. It helps the other person save their time and also indicates your professionalism.
