From your interest I see that you are more interested in Software, but the specialization you have chosen, isnt it more to do with Hardware related.

Anyways choice is yours.

As far as college campus recruitment is concerned, there are limited companies who are part of the recruitment and they generally look out for the creamy layer of students.
Since now your focus is hunting a job all by yourself, the first and foremost thing you would have to do, is get yourself well equipped with most of the Software languages required in the field, and may be an up gradation of the languages you know already. Though you dont have to employ yourself full time for these certifications, since it is a certificate courses and mainly would engage you for 2--3 hours per day.

Post this very essential is a good write up about your experience and how can it be beneficial to the company and how is it different from other employees. Here you could write all about your experience if any internship, ten speak about how your knowledge of the programming helped or in terms of networking or troubleshooting.
Please note that talk only about what you know not about something you dont know, because based on your writeup you would be asked questions.

The next step would be to post your resume on various job portals like Naukri, Monster, Timesjob etc. At the same time, you can directly upload your Resume on a company website portal.

Also since this would be your first job, you cannot be very choosy and may have to compromise on the salary. So it would be good if you could take the job and then add experience and then hunt for a job as per your experience since then you would be the king.

Also since it is your first job, word of reference would play a very important role. May be a reference from a professor or guest lecturer, older friend or relative.

Wish you all the very best...........
