As a Chartered Accountant, your work is involved more or less about the finance. A lot depends on the industry that they have chosen. The various work and responsibilities that you will be involved in are mentioned below:

1. They keep track of every day transactions and financial processes. They collect all the information and data regarding the same. In certain cases, the data is provided by the clients.

2. They get involved in the financial decision making and help the company/organization to do business analysis. Cost analysis is another aspect of their work.

3. They advise on various mergers and acquisitions and help the clients with good financial advise. This requires a good deal of understanding of both accounting and finance.

4. Chartered Accountants do the budget analysis for a company. The quantitative, research and analytical skills are utmost important in this case.

5. They perform the job of auditing of various corporate and government organizations. This is one task which requires great deal of understanding of financial statements and the legal policies.

6. They are also involved in tax saving processes. They provide the right information and help to save the taxes.
