As a Chartered Accountant, your work is involved more or less about the finance. A lot depends on the industry that they have chosen. The various work and responsibilities that you will be involved in are mentioned below:

1. They keep track of every day transactions and financial processes. They collect all the information and data regarding the same. In certain cases, the data is provided by the clients.

2. They get involved in the financial decision making and help the company/organization to do business analysis. Cost analysis is another aspect of their work.

3. They advise on various mergers and acquisitions and help the clients with good financial advise. This requires a good deal of understanding of both accounting and finance.
