To start with let me introduce you to myself, I did my MBA in finance from IIM Shillong and currently working as a finance analyst in a private company, before that was working with a govt company as a operational manager after completing btech from NIT bhopal. Having more than three years of experience in the above mentioned field and seeing the corporate work culture I think I can answer your query well.

coming to your doubt of about the advanced tools and technologies that a business analysts work on, I would like to highlight some important points which will help you to understand and relate to the work.

Business analyst is person who need to analyse all aspects with the help of all available tools and help the company by creating some models to grow and achieve all the visions and missions.

first important tool is the Big data analytic Tool which help them ti analyse large amount of available data fastly and accurately, to generate reports and conclusions out of it

Another important aspect is data ware housing, data mapping with the help of available advanced software in the market and keep updated with the new versions of the same software through training. Analyzing the requirements of the business before starting a project or work so help in project management also with the help of some advanced software like Ms projects. Use of advanced analytic and modelling tools is also a part of their work.










Apart from above so many other tools are there all revolving more or less around how to use and analyse data to create a useful report and findings to help the company to grow their business.
