Dear Aspirant, you really asked a very good question, and I believe that you have clarity in your mind about your future career planning. The Fishery scientist have many job opportunities not only in India but also all over the globe. Interestingly, the job opportunities are in government as well as in private sector also.
Let me first take the first part of your question, the lucrative jobs for a fishery scientist; now it depends upon you, what you want to do. You want a to join a government organization such as universities or research institutions. Do you want to join a private company involved in rearing or catching fishes for export or business purpose.
Here again another question arises, a fishery scientist could be after obtaining a masters degree in Fishery Science or Technology. But technically specking a doctoral degree holder in Fishery science is truly a scientist.
The lucrative jobs will be a researcher or scientist or professor in any university. If you prefer to work abroad, then definitely the quality of work and the package will satisfy your desire of lucrative job. Here you can work as a professor, teach the students what you have learned. You may concentrate on research aspects, here you have carry out research on new ideas of Fishery Science. You will be able to publish your findings in journals, this output will definitely give a boost in your career and you will be rewarded by promotion.
Another thing if you in a private organization of company, involved i pure business in Fisheries, you may get good package, it all depends on what position you are working. If you are in research and development (R&D) then you will be getting a better package, compared to a person who is doing a routine job. If you are looking after preservation of fish, their cold chain management and administration aspects, then again, you will be getting good package.
The criteria to become a fishery scientist, is that you have to take biology in 12 class, then in bachelor degree subjects like zoology of Fish science will help you a lot. In master degree program, you have to Masters degree in Fishery science (MFSc). Here specialization like Fish nutrition, fish breeding, Fish habitat and ecology, Fish pathology and immunology will make you a specialized person. Finally a doctoral degree in Fish Sciences is must to become a Fishery Scientist.

Good Luck...
