Hello student/parent,
I appreciate your interest in homeopathy. Though a stream of alternative medicine, homeopathy is a popular form of treatment that many people seek. So there are several job opportunities for well trained homeopaths in the market. One couldeither join a public or private hospital providing multispeciality services or even speciality homeopathy clinics or hospitals. One could also engage in private practice. Homeopath doctors can also be consultants in a corporate set up or on panels of insurance companies.

To be a homeopath you have to have a BHMS, the homeopathy degree course after 10+2. In 12th class you need to have PCB group i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology and most Universities have English as a compulsory subject. This is a four and a half year programme followed by six months or one year of internship, depending on the university. The BHMS is asufficient qualification to be a homeopath.

All the best.
Regards,
Nandini
