In order to make a career in the field of Interior Designing one need to go for the formal education like a Degree or Diploma after 12th from any stream. A degree in Interior Deigning is always helpful to have a good career in the field.
One must have an some of the attributes and skills like being imaginative and creative, interpersonal skills,managerial skills,technological skills etc.

Answering your query apart from having an academic knowledge one should hold a technological knowledge like CAD,2D and 3D knowledge, should be at good managing the things and should also have a good communication and interpersonal skills. One should have a good hand for drawing.sketches,making layouts etc. Good at the listening skills.

These are some of the skills that you need to have apart from academic to have a good career in the field of Interior Designing.
