2. They have to work on various analytical and mathematical software. If one can learn and build expertise in such software, it will be extremely helpful in the long terms. These software are used across all the industries and one has to be really good at working on them.

3. As a Business Analyst it is extremely important that one maintains healthy relationships with their fellow colleagues, clients and other employees. Maintaining warm and healthy relationships is an art that you learn over the period of time. Business Analysts need to learn this art and practice it every day in order to master it.

The communication skills are very important as they determine the value of an employee and how they are effectively contributing to the workplace and other employees. Business Analysts need to practie their verbal and written communication skills and ensure that they make absolutely zero mistake in their communications.

5. Business Analysts need to learn a lot about the business processes, how businesses function and almost everything about the management system. They need to spend some time in educating themselves about the various aspects of the business and how various process affect their functions. For the similar reason, management consulting firms hire Business Analysts from B Schools, as they have thorough understanding of the businesses. If they dont have an MBA degree they should learn those things what people learn in B Schools.
