Here is a list of law colleges in Andhra Pradesh:

National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University (NALSAR)

This is the second best college in India for India for BA.LLB & is considered in the best colleges for law in Asia. After NLS Bangalore, students prefer NALSAR as their preferred college list in CLAT admission form. This is a residential college like most of the NLUs. This was established in the year 1998 under National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University Act 1998. They have 70 seats in total for the undergraduate course, while 50 seats for the post graduation course.  They charge a total fee of 7, 50,000 Rs in total for 5 years. Admission is only through CLAT. They don’t have management seats. They only take admission on the basis of CLAT scores.  The cut off mars keeps changing on the basis of the difficulty & checking of the paper. The campus is 50 acres & t is 28m away from the city. Their placement record is also excellent.

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam

Established in 2008 was passing an Act Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly this is a government college. This is one of the NLUs in India. NLUs are considered as the best colleges in India. The Andhra Pradesh University of Law was its earlier name, it was later changed. Admission to this college is through CLAT. Every year CLAT is organized for admissions in NLUs. This college is considered in top 10 colleges in India for an undergraduate law course. They provide BA.LLB. LLM & Doctor of philosophy. They don’t have management seats, they only take students on the basis of CLAT. They provide hostel to students, but students can stay outside if they want. This is a new college but with time it is gaining pace.

Andhra University, Visakhapatnam

This is located in Visakhapatnam. Established in the year 1926, this is one of the oldest colleges for law in India. They earlier used to provide for only 3-year law course, but with time they changed their pattern & now provides 5-years integrated course. This is a government college so the fee structure is low. This is the first college to be conceived as residential & teaching-cum-affiliating University. This University contains colleges for different fields apart from the law. Its college for the law is recognized as an advanced center in law by UGC. They provide undergraduate as well as post graduate courses. Apart from that they also provide Ph.D.

University College of Law - Osmania University, Hyderabad

Established in 1918, it is the 7th oldest in India, while third oldest in South India. Also, this is the first university established in the state of Hyderabad. This is located in Hyderabad, one of the oldest cities in India. They also take foreign students in their university.  They have a grand campus of 1600 acres. The largest higher education institute in India, the college provides a lot of courses in almost every field. They provide both the three years as well as the five years integrated course for the law. They also have post graduation as well as Ph.D. courses available. They have 60 seats for the three years LLB course, while 80 seats for the five years integrated course. For the three-year graduation course, general students need 45% marks in their 10+2+3, while for SC/ST students they need 40% marks to get admission. They take around 50,000 as a fee per semester. LL.B. Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET) needs to be cleared by the students for admission. Admission is from the merit list generated by the college after the exam. They have provided reservations for the various category students as per the rules & guide lines given.

ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad

ICFAI is the one famous university of India. They have branches all over India. One such branch is Hyderabad branch, probably the oldest one also. They provide five years integrated course for BA.LLB. They provide BA LLB as well as BBA LLB. They take around RS 9, 00,000 as a fee for the total of five years. They also have post graduation courses for which they take around Rs 1, 30,000 fee. They have a total of 180 seats for the BBA LLB course, 60 seats for the BA LLB course & for the masters they have 30 seats.
