The work hours for Human Resource Managers in India are mostly according to the below mentioned points:

  • In most companies they have to work for five days a week.

  • The working hours are mostly 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. That can vary as per the organization but it remains 9 hours a day, if they are working for five days.

  • Overall, they have to work for minimum of 45 hours a week.

  • Some companies also giv the flexibility of time. That means they can work whenever they want.

  • Night shifts are rarely there for Human Resource Managers. Since most of the employees work in day time and they have to deal with employees and issues related to them, they have to work in day time only.

  • Work from option is also available in certain Multi National Comapnies but again one has to resolve the issues immediately if anything occurs.

  • Often they have to travel as well. And therefore, the day is hectic.

  • Throughout the day they have to interact with a number of people and conduct meetings. That way the duration of their typical day depends on the scheduled activities.
