Psychology is the only science which does not have a definite definition and there fore it is a very deep, vast and yet always ever green field to explore.
After 10th, you can opt for any stream from Science, Commerce, Arts(Humanities). However, generally those who wish to become psychologists, choose Science or Arts stream. After you pass 12th std either with Science or Arts/Humanities, you can opt for BA Psychology from a good college. This is a three year under graduate course in Psychology.
BA Psychology would not give you good opportunities for making a career. MA Psychology is the level you have to complete to get job and freelance opportunities as a Psychologist. In Masters there are other specialisations like Clinical Psychology, Child Psychology, Family Counselling, Special Children Education Psychology, etc. Based on your liking, interests developed while doing your BA Psychology, you will be able to decide for your specialisation for Masters or else you can choose plain MA Psychology.
After MA, you can get job opportunities in schools, colleges, hospitals, NGOs, corporate HR departments, clinics, etc.
