Hi Friend,

Well your question is very technical because of the less amount of infomation you have providede here, but anyways will go ahead with whatever you have provided or asked here.

Honestly Speaking, your question has two sides in fact two different types of corporate lawyers are available or does exist today. question is how, well, corporate sector or word is too vast and the laws attached with them are uncountable. you can not be a 100% corporate lawyer ever, cause there has to be a particular area in which you want to move on or make your career like either in M&A or Banking or Cross Border Affairs and so on.

There are companies who have their footprints only in India not outside and there are compnies whose footprints are all over the globe and they both would be having their in house corporate lawyers but the difference between both of them would be huge, due to the kind of knowledge they posses.

coming back to your question, it does a lot of difference if you have studies abroad a law and coming back to your country and working or staying in the same country and practicing the law which you have studied.

Indian institutes are still not able to adopt the laws of the other countries or amending the existing law by doing so at least you can match up with other countries legal system. If you go to UK or USA or Canada or Australia there are few business and commercial laws are very similar which opens up your door to go and practice in other countries court on behalf of your company.

The reason studying business and commercial laws outside India is the course which you have selected covers basic corporate laws and which are adopted by almost most of the countries. So when you complete your LLB/LLM in corporate laws from either UK/USA/Canada and get a job as a corporate lawyer in any of the country you have atleast basic knowledge about the laws of that particular country, because you did study that. while in India only Indian commercial laws are being taught and there is only one University and that is NALSAR which is teaching international level or standard courses in Commercial Laws.

In my opinion it does make a lot of difference doing a Corporate Degree from Abroad rather than doing it from India.

I wish you all the very best and hope my answer satisfied your question.
