There are a number of things that you are going to study in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. Below is the list of the important things:

1. You will be learning about the basics of electricity, how it is being generated and what are the various applications of the electricity. You will also learn about the electronics devices and how they are being designed and fabricated in the industry.

2. As a student of electrical and electronics engineering you will learn about the circuits of electrical design and also in the electronics devices. You will have to understand the various types of the circuits and the significance of them so that you can derive their applications through those concepts.

3. You will be learning about the manufacturing sector. How the electrical appliances and the electronic devices are manufactured in the industry. What all processes are involved during the production. What would be your role as an engineer. All these things you will be studying as a part of your education.

4. You will learn about the communication technology and engineering as a electrical and electronics engineering. The various communication devices their concepts and the applications will be taught to you. Remember as an electrical and electronics engineer you will be working in mainly two fields - electrical engineering and electronics engineering. Electrical engineering involves sectors like power generation, electricity distribution board, manufacturing of appliances etc. There are a number of public sector jobs available in these fields. On the other hand electronics engineering sector will help you learn about the electronic devices, their fabrication and design processes and thus the manufacturing sector is open for you.
