Dear Aspirant,

Thanks for writing  to www.careerguide.com!

AICTE stands for All India Council for Technical Education. It is the statutory body and a National level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is responsible for proper planning, co-ordination and monitor the technical education in India.

Affiliation means AICTE the college or institute adhere to the minimum standards and norms set by AICTE to impart technical education.

Hope this is helpful.
