Http stands for Hyper text Transfer protocol.

Http Specify how messages are transmitted and formatted, and what actions web browsers ans servers respond to various request send by client.

Http manages understanding between server and the client to exchange information or data successfully.

some website using http .you can see this as a prefix to their website address. Http is not secure way to make a connection with server.so generally website having financial transaction like facility does not use http.

 Https stands for Hyper Text Transfer protocol secure .

it is a combination of http and a secure socket layer (SSL).

Https is secure and generally uses by banking , forms ,government website and website that contain confidential information .
